Retirement Association

As a Diageo pensioner, you're a tremendous ambassador for us, and we want you to know how much we value your contribution to the Company. The Diageo Retirement Association (DRA) exists to encourage ongoing contact between retired staff, former colleagues and the Company. Members enjoy regular social events, discounts on Company products and a nationwide network of community support.

Diageo provides generous funding for the 62 branches that make up the DRA. Local branches organise regular and varied social events throughout the year, including a Christmas party. Most of these events are subsidised.

The DRA also plays a vital welfare role, keeping in touch with pensioners who are unwell or who have had bereavements. Many of the local pensioner associations have evolved into supportive, closely-knit groups within their local communities.

Each local area is administered and run by a Committee. Each committee appoints a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer and any other roles it deems necessary.

Committees continually strive to bring new members on board and no restriction is placed on the length of time members can serve on the committee.

If you're interested in joining your local committee, please contact the Pensions Team.

Please note that with effect from January 2010, the Diageo Retirement Association closed to new members.
